Security & Data Protection

How we safeguard your information, payments, and event operations across South Africa.

Data Encryption & Storage

All fan and client data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and transmitted over TLS 1.3. We store personally identifiable information separately from operational logs, with access restricted to authorised personnel only. Regular third-party audits verify our encryption protocols.

Access Control & Authentication

Multi-factor authentication is mandatory for all staff accounts. Role-based permissions ensure that venue operators, event planners, and finance teams only see what they need. Session tokens expire after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Payment Security

All payment processing is handled by PCI DSS Level 1 compliant gateways. We never store full card numbers or CVV codes on our servers. Tokenisation replaces sensitive data with unique identifiers, and every transaction is logged for reconciliation without exposing financial details.

Incident Response Plan

Our dedicated security team follows a documented incident response framework. Suspected breaches are escalated within 30 minutes, containment steps are pre-approved, and affected parties are notified within 72 hours as required by POPIA. We run quarterly tabletop exercises with venue partners.

Physical Venue Security

For on-site activations and pop-up beer gardens, we implement access wristbands with RFID chips, CCTV coverage at all entry and service points, and trained security personnel. Stock and cash handling follows a two-person rule with real-time inventory tracking.

Compliance & Certifications

We adhere to the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and maintain a data protection officer on retainer. Our security framework aligns with ISO 27001 controls, and we undergo an independent penetration test every six months. Compliance documentation is available upon request.
